Office and Finance Administrator
Location: Hutt Valley
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Start Date: September 2025
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
The Role
As our Office and Finance Administrator, you’ll be the backbone of our operations—ensuring our financial systems run smoothly and our office remains a welcoming, efficient hub for our team and community. Reporting directly to the CEO, this hands-on role blends financial management, administrative coordination, and stakeholder support.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management: Manage accounts using Xero, process payroll, prepare reports, and support audits and compliance.
Office Administration: Oversee daily office operations, maintain records, coordinate meetings, and support staff onboarding.
Stakeholder Support: Liaise with external providers, support fundraising and grant reporting, and foster a positive team culture.
What You’ll Bring
3+ years’ experience in finance administration (non-profit experience a plus)
Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of budgeting, payroll, and financial compliance
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a passion for youth development
